Loganville

A calm and relaxing environment in a family-friendly suburb.

Welcome to Loganville

Loganville is split between Gwinnett and Walton counties. A suburb of Atlanta, it is roughly 36 miles northeast of the city and 33 miles away from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Athens is a brisk 38 miles east of Loganville. Between these two major metropolitan areas, workers can commute from Loganville while also enjoying the calm and tranquility from a distance. Loganville is subject to relatively warm temperatures, particularly in the summer and mild winters.

An excellent academic reputation makes the school system a selling point for individuals considering or already with growing families. Loganville is also close to the University of Georgia and technical colleges. Spacious home designs and rapidly expanding developments make the region increasingly sought-after.

Local Lifestyle

Loganville is a peaceful, family-oriented community that floats between a pair of cities and appreciates a connected collective outlook. Nestled between the urban landscape and the rural areas, but with access to both, it offers amenities and relaxing outdoor spaces. Everything remains reachable, yet far enough away to not cause additional stress.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Foggy Bottom BBQ has roots as an award winner in various BBQ competitions. The success grew into a catering business which then grew into a location in Loganville and another in Lawrenceville. Their biggest claim to fame is an appearance on Atlanta Eats. They serve traditional southern BBQ; and save room for the classic dessert, banana pudding.

La Bamba Mexican Grill strives to create a fun environment. It merges various styles, creating an extensive menu where one is bound to find an old favorite or experience a new one. La Bamba has plenty of protein options if you’re seeking burritos, fajitas, quesadillas, or tacos. Carnitas and chilaquiles are served to deliver authentic flavors. At the same time, hybrid or fusion items such as flatbreads and burgers round out a menu that is also kid-friendly. Pair any of their entrees with a tasty, refreshing margarita and consider the meal a success.

North Logan Commons includes various shopping options, including sporting goods stores, clothing boutiques, beauty salons, pet stores, places selling office supplies, and a fitness center. Downtown Loganville offers plenty of locally owned gems to satisfy your needs.

Things to Do

West Walton Park is the hotspot of sports and recreation. Eight baseball and softball diamonds, two football fields, a pair of playgrounds, and extensive walking paths are laid over the 50-acre spread. It also has a picnic pavilion and a trio of concession stands, making it a focal point of organized sports.

Bringing the community together for a decade, the Loganville Town Green continues to host a monthly live summer concert series called Groovin’ on the Green every third Friday. Patrons can bring their picnic and refreshments or enjoy the selection of vendors.

In late August, local acts and groups representing all genres converge on the field adjacent to the city hall for the battle of the bands. While participants may perform just to see how they stack up among their contemporaries, there’s something else at stake. Besides pride and reputation, the winners receive a coveted paid slot at Autumn Fest.

Over the last three years, Citywide Cleanup Day has served as a prime example of teamwork as the community bonds together in a collective effort, cleaning curbs, collecting garbage, etc., to maintain and reinforce civic pride.
